LA LUNA DE SAMANÚ
PACKAGING DESIGN
This packaging was conceived to reflect some of the moon’s main perception characteristics: Its mystery, and its relation with feminity and beauty
The line reflects the four main moon’s phases. Each phase represents a step in the beauty routine.
The idea was to design a line that visually gives the consumers indications of the order they need to follow to complete the routine, by following the moon phases reflected on the bootles.

The packaging development
The company not only trust me to create the design of the brand and packaging but also to find the right supplier to develop the entire project.
The environmental impact these products would have was the main thing we had in mind. That’s why we ended up working with an Italian supplier that was able to produce the design and also adapt an internal interchangeable capsule, which allows the consumers to keep the bootles and just exchange the capsules. In that way, the waste amount was significantly smaller, and the emissions created by the production and transport of the package were brought to a minimum.
